Dassault Systèmes has launched the ‘Perfect Product’ industry experience for consumer packaged goods companies.
Based on the 3DEXPERIENCE platform, the French 3D design software giant said the new concept offers brand and contract manufacturers a digital collaborative innovation platform to develop high-performing formulas that ‘reinforce brand equity and inspire consumer loyalty’.
Designed for manufacturers of beauty, personal care and household goods, ‘Perfect Product’ brings together consumer insights, formula discovery and design, regulatory compliance and product specification management into a single platform.
This, said Philippe Loeb, vice president, consumer packaged goods & retail industry, Dassault Systèmes, enables multiple functions inside and outside the enterprise to collaborate together in real time, accelerating formula development, optimizing costs and virtually eliminating product recalls related to formula non-compliance.
“Our business platform unifies fragmented people, processes and systems. This can result in improved quality, in reduced sourcing and launch costs by up to 30% and in shortened development time by up to 20%,” he added.
